Win the Ultimate Prom Contest Past Winners

Four Years ago, the Win the Ultimate Prom contest began as a local, Arizona contest for high school students. Since then, it has evolved into a nationwide contest with winners from across the country. Check out the schools that have taken home the $25,000 grand prize and have used their winnings.

Desert Vista

Desert Vista High School was the first school to Win the Ultimate Prom. DVHS had a Cirque du Soleil-themed prom. Upon arrival, guests walked the red carpet through fog, dodging paparazzi and roving lights. DV had five different performers including a diva dancer, fire throwers, a contortionist, the band Katastro and DJ Andy Tang. Students ate customized cupcake-cakes and each couple walked away with a swag bag full of goodies. Check it out:

Mira Mesa

Mira Mesa High School scored Win the Ultimate Prom’s grand prize once again, bringing their total winnings to $50,000! JP Taravella in Florida took 2nd place, and North Garland High School in Texas captured 3rd place winning a band for their prom.

Mira Mesa High School near San Diego won the 2nd rendition of Win the Ultimate Prom. Mira Mesa used the $25,000 grand prize on both their prom and grad night. They were especially thrilled to win as their usual fundraising efforts were interrupted by the San Diego wildfires.
