High School students to win $2,500 and $20,000 in scholarships by dancing at Prom

Phoenix, AZ – April 28, 2010 – The time for proms and graduation parties is upon us and WintheUltimateProm.com, home to the $25,000 GiveAway, is pleased to announce The Ultimate Prom Dance Off sponsored by Grand Canyon University.

The Ultimate Prom Dance Off is a national video competition where high school students perform a group dance they film during their prom. The group dance can be freestyle, hip-hop or any other style of dance. The group must consist of a minimum of 5 students and the video must prove the dance was filmed at prom. The video with the most cumulative votes at the end of the contest wins $2,500 for their school. An additional $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded to up to 5 students who participated in the winning video submission to be used toward one of Grand Canyon University’s College of Fine Arts and Production degree programs.

Current U.S. high school students that are eligible to attend prom can participate in the Ultimate Prom Dance Off. Anyone over the age of 13 years can vote for videos during the contest voting period, voters must be registered with WintheUltimateProm.com.
